Owls of Boulder County
BCNA published Owls of Boulder County as a booklet in 5.5" x 8.5" format in 2004. Rather than produce another printed edition, we decided to make the publication available on the Web. The print publication has been updated and reformatted to 8.5 x 11 inches. The complete revised version can be downloaded in PDF format using the link in the box above. The PDF includes some essays, tables, and sightings maps that have not been translated to Web format. It also includes hyperlinks from the contents page directly to any referenced page.

There is a Web page for each of the 12 owl species that occur in Boulder County, with species descriptions and information about nesting and locations where they are sometimes found. On most of the pages, links to audio and video available from Cornell's Macaulay Library have been added to the descriptions.
