Nature Almanac 
An archive of downloadable audio from the monthly series of short programs on KGNU, featuring Steve Jones and Ruth Carol Cushman. For each program, they visit a Boulder County nature site to record sounds there and discuss topics of interest. They are also the authors of Wild Boulder County: A Seasonal Guide to the Natural World. (Pruett Publishing Company, Boulder. Available from Mountain Press or local bookstores.) Like the Nature Almanac broadcasts, the book covers a variety of topics and also suggests places to visit. There is a Web page for each month with pictures and text in addition to the audio links.
